Tag from Suraya

Directions: Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a blog or a note on Facebook with sixteen random things, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end choose ten people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don’t forget to leave them a comment (”you’re it”) and to read your blog. You can’t tag the person who tagged you. Since you can’t tag me, let me know when you’ve posted your blog/note, so I can see your weirdness. I like different things from different eras. I like the 50's and 60's muscle cars and I like 80's rock songs. But most of all, the 21st century has been the most rewarding. Mainly because it is because this is when I have grown up the most in terms of maturity and preference. I can drawl. i.e. like how the cowboys talk. I am partly a socialite. I have a tight-knit group of very good -- and very few -- friends and countless acquaintances. But of course, at the center of my entire universe, is her. I am witty and a romantic. I can come ...
Jeez. It's been a while since I last published a post. My body's sore at the shoulders, legs and just under the ribs. Rugby practice. Yeeha. But I'm not complaining. I love it. The fitness, the team work, everything. Happy CNY to all my Chinese friends. May you have a prosperous year. I really miss her. Miss her like crazy. I know, it's probably revolting that you're reading this but hey, when you're head over heels like this, it's not exactly easy to let go. Scratch that; it's IMPOSSIBLE to let go. Valentine's is just around the corner. It bugs me I can't get her much. Though she's never expected much, I still feel bad. Guess I'll just have to make my current plans a bit more theatrical and such. Shouldn't be too hard. Wonder how much does a single rose cost... Unfortunately, I can't get one without being noticed. Damn. Ah well, gotta keep working at it eh? Um... sorry about the little monologue up there. Jus...

2nd Week of School

It's been a while since I last publised a post. Form 4 has been good so far. I've been settling in and adjusting to the rhythm of the classes. Tomorrow is the the first RoadRun practice for '09. Today there was a class re-shuffle. It was OK. Except that our class popp. exceeded 50. WTF?! 4 Eps only has 48. But at least our class is livelier. Yaay! That's all for now. Au revoir

Form 4

Form 4 is actually quite cool. Bio rocks! I'm considering EST -- English for Science & Technology. It's supposed to be an easy 'A'. We were supposed to do streaming today but apparently not. Slow school... Anyway, school so far has been good. The canteen sucks though. Nothing to eat. At least nothing caught my attention. Remind me to try out the nasi goreng or wtv they're selling that doesn't look contaminated. Anyway, I'm thinking of being more active in co-curriculum. For sports, I'm picking up Rugby. I know I'm not built or anything but I want t0 give it a shot. Maybe I'll end up the runner or something. I'm resuming Kadet Bomba again. Oh oh oh, and ELS -- English Language Society. I know, Why that? Why not something new? Well, Bomba & Rugby are both tiring so I want something I can do in my sleep. I guess that's all for now. I'm supposed to tone down on bloggging. Hehe. Later. Au revoir.

1st Day of School '09

The first day of school was... eventful. Most of the morning was spent shuffling classes. But we're probably going to end up reshuffling -- again -- because we haven't been streamed yet. Aargh. All this trouble because some government officer did a surprise pop-in. *Sigh*. But I'm definitely going for Pure Science. I think I prefer being in 4 Beta compared to 4 Epsilon. It seems... livelier. But mashing Alpharians and Lambdarians isn't exactly a match made in heaven. Especially given our 'rivalry', being the two top classes and all. But I think sooner or later, we'll learn to be one big family -- just like every other year. After the assembly, we were initially arranged according to our old class. Then we were slowly but surely shuffled. I ended up in 4 Beta. Liyana, Farah & Lyn ended up there too. I was fine with it. The way I see it, less peer pressure to succeed. I hope. Anyway, there were those like Hsiang & Mikhail who were taki...

The Nightlings (Pt. 7)

"But why is he after me? And I need to know more about my powers mom. You said there are limits so what are they? And is there some kind of code I must abide by or something?" Maya asked; wanting to know more. "Tomorrow, Maya, I promise. First, all of us need to get some sleep," and Jonathan showed Aaron and Maya to their respective sleeping quarters. To Maya’s relief, she had her sleeping quarter all to herself. After a long, hot shower, she climbed into bed and tried to go to sleep. She spent most of the night tossing on her bed, unable to make much sense out of what she was just told. Why was this vampire after her? What were the limits her mom had told her about? In the end, Maya fell into a fitful sleep. It felt as though Maya had just put her head down when she was awakened. Opening her eyes, she saw Anna staring over her; her black hair falling over Maya’s face. "Wake up, Maya. We need to get you some new clothes. So that Jean’s men won’t recognize you. ...

Life Is Blissful

I can't believe my good fortune!! Alhamdulillah. I am thankful for all the Almighty has given me. I have an 80GB PS3 sitting in my living room, I got my PMR results on the beach -- and they were excellent -- and a pair of brand new Salomon sneaks -- which cost RM400++ but were on discount. 50%!! And they're gorgeous. Gorgeous her implying that they look awesome. Anyway, it was a deal simply to good for me to pass up. One last thing I'm adding to that list of 'good fortune'. Faiz, this is the answer to your question; a HP Mini 10001TU. I'm publishing this post from my brand new laptop!! YEEHAW!! I finally have my own laptop!! Faiz, I hope that answers your question. And Dayana, don't believe what the locals say about Kellie's Castle being haunted. The only people haunting the place would be the Indian labourers who died during the outbreak of Spanish Influenza... A steaming pile of b.s. is all the locals are telling. Sure, there might be t...

2 Weeks Have Gone By...

Bonjour everyone. It's been ages since I lasted published a post. So many things have been happening but first I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!! Now, to explain myself; My mom came back from Canada after 10 weeks on Dec 21st, a Sunday. Then on Monday afternoon, we went out to KLCC to buy my bro's gift for jumping from #24 to # 7. He had been asking for a PS3 for some time now so voila, the 80GB version is sitting in the living room as we speak. It's really fun!! So my bro and I have been playing with it. On Dec 28th, a week after my mom got back, we left for Taiping, because my mom wanted to see her parents and all. She missed Hari Raya Eid il Adha. We also decided to go to the Swiss Gardens Damai Laut in Lumut for our vacation. Unfortunately, the news came out on Saturday night that the results will be results were to be released on Tuesday, 30th Dec. I was rather sad but I knew that I would get my results. I could only pray that they were good. We spent one...
